TMCnet: What are your predications about VoIP technology?

TMCnet: Hawk Communications, the company behind JoiBiz, started out as an Internet Service Provider, selling Internet dial-up service. The company switched gears in 2006 and got into the residential broadband phone business with JoiPhone ( News - Alert) . What was the reason for the switch?

Joe Egosi: Hawk Communications’ vision and strategy is to emerge the latest technologies within its expertise that can change people lives by providing customer needs to the latest IT and IP services at price most people can afford.

TMCnet: What makes JoiBiz unique?

JE: JoiBiz uses it own in-house development to deployed the latest telephony platform that provided high-end, low cost phone service to all businesses.

TMCnet: How do VoIP services compare to traditional phone service?

JE: VoIP is the next generation technology in telephony communication where people can take their phone service with them whenever they go and use features available only with VoIP service. It is also cost effective and environmentally friendly as it does not use copper cables and consumes less energy to operate.

TMCnet: The company has made headway with its residential service plans under the JoiPhone name. How do you envision growing your company to attract businesses with JoiBiz?

David Norman: JoiBiz Hosted PBX (News - Alert) or JoiPBX is going to grow rapidly since SMBs can benefit from this product. If residential saves hundreds dollar a year and businesses save thousands per month, then the savings is 100-fold.

TMCnet: What can businesses gain from signing up for JoiBiz Hosted PBX services?
